Abstract: Accurate diagnosis is the cornerstone of successful outcomes in both endodontic therapy and the management of traumatic dental injuries. This lecture will explore the paradigm shift from traditional diagnostic methods to modern, technology-driven protocols. Special emphasis will be placed on the critical role of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in uncovering complex anatomy, identifying hidden root fractures, and assessing the true extent of traumatic resorption. Furthermore, we will discuss how integrating digital workflows—from initial intraoral scanning to 3D diagnostic software—enhances predictability in treatment planning. All concepts will be grounded in the latest clinical guidelines, providing attendees with an evidence-based framework to confidently diagnose, classify, and manage challenging endodontic and trauma cases in their daily practice.

Abstract: Invasive Cervical Resorption (ICR) remains one of the most challenging and poorly understood pathological processes in dentistry, demanding an early diagnosis and a highly precise therapeutic intervention. This intensive hands-on workshop is designed to bridge the gap between theory and clinical execution. Utilizing high-fidelity phantom models, participants will navigate various clinical scenarios of ICR, ranging from early-stage localized lesions to advanced, complex defects. The course will guide clinicians through the entire decision-making tree, emphasizing a crucial interdisciplinary approach. Attendees will gain practical, step-by-step experience in handling the biological and mechanical aspects of treatment, including advanced surgical/periodontal isolation, specialized endodontic management of the resorption defect, and the application of modern bioactive materials for aesthetic and functional restoration. By the end of this session, participants will have acquired the tactical skills necessary to predictably treat ICR while preserving the maximum amount of sound dental structure.
